- Campus Identification Number (CIN): The 9-digit CIN acts as a student ID across the CSUF Portal. Students use their CINs to login to the portal.
- Password: A default password is sent to new students which must be changed later to one with added complexity for security.
- Multi-Factor Authentication: For extra authentication, students configure their portal accounts for MFA. This sends a unique one-time code during login for verification.
- Official Email Activation: Students need to activate their university-issued @fullerton.edu email ID to receive credentials for the portal.
- Active Enrollment Status: Only currently enrolled active students can access the portal. Applicants and students on leave do not have login privileges.
- Browser Compatibility: The portal works on modern browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge for desktop access. Mobile apps are also available.
