Forgotten your password for accessing the CSUF Portal? Don’t worry, you can easily reset your portal password by following these simple steps:

1. Click on “Forgot Password”
Go to the CSUF Portal login page and click on the “Forgot Password” link right below the password field. This will open the password reset form.
2. Select Password Reset Method
You can reset your password through two methods:
Security Questions: Answer the security questions you had previously configured for your portal account.
Reset Email: Have a reset password link sent to your registered CSUF Portal email address.
Choose your preferred method. The email option is best if you don’t remember your security question answers.
3. Complete Reset Verification
For security questions – correctly answer all the prompts to verify identity.
For reset email – access the email inbox for the reset link and click on it.
4. Create a New Password
Once verified, you will be prompted to create and submit a new password for your portal account.
Be sure to follow the provided guidelines for a strong password. It is recommended to enable multi-factor authentication as an additional layer of security.
5. Login with a New Password
With your new password, you can now successfully login to access your CSUF Portal account. Update your password anywhere else you use the same one.
Be sure to remember or store your new password securely going forward to avoid having to reset it again.
